This site provides digital elevation data from the
Space Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) over
the entire Central America. The data is distributed
as part of the NASA/CCAD cooperative research program
to help scientists, environmentalist, and conservation
groups working in the region to have immediate access
to this data set.
